11 Classic Works of TCMag Literature (Goodbye Special List)
One way or another, everything comes to an end some day. That's perhaps one of the most fascinating truths we know about the entire universe. The stars die, the galaxies die, the planets die, we die. All good things must come to an end at some point and this is the case for our top lists as well. After 1,205 days (3 years and almost 4 months) and over 250 articles, the curtain falls for our editorials. As the writer of these lists, I would like to thank all of you who were reading, commenting and sharing our lists during the whole time. So what’s better on such an occasion than compiling the ultimate list in which we reminisce about the eleven most unique lists we ever published? Picking from such a wide variety of articles wasn't easy at all, but since we all have favorites in life, here are the 11 pieces I enjoyed writing a little more than the rest. Au Revoir my friends! Written by Theodoros II
11 THINGS THE ANCIENT GREEKS DID WAY BETTER THAN TODAY’S HIGH-TECH WORLD
Many of us know that the ancient Greeks contributed a bunch of things to the world including philosophy, the Olympic Games, and democracy but most don’t realize how our semi-naked ancestors were technologically advanced as well. All we had to do was some heavy research, some catchy writing, and you did the rest: nearly 2,000 likes and shares on social media can't be wrong. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 NOTABLE PEOPLE WHO MOST LIKELY DIED A VIRGIN
In modern society where sex is more appreciated than even food and water, this list was destined to stir reaction. Our followers are usually quiet peeps who read the lists and rarely comment, appearing to keep their thoughts to themselves. However, with this list we surprisingly broke some records and got 49 comments. Apparently, nobody wants to be a virgin anymore. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 CONTROVERSIAL QUESTIONS DESTINED TO CAUSE DISPUTES
In one of the rare cases where you won’t find an intro to a TCmag list, this piece was far from incomplete or insufficient. We attempted to answer questions that most people in our insanely PC world would avoid and we still don’t regret it. So, is software piracy a real crime? Should torture be legal in some cases? Should gay couples be allowed to adopt children? Does race determine your intelligence and skills? Who dares to answer these questions? CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 EXTREME CASES WHERE POP CULTURE LED TO MURDER AND DEATH
When we were writing this article the Ice Bucket Challenge had reached its peak. A few peeps were severely hurt while performing this stupid act while a couple even lost their lives. This gave us the chance to do some research and find similar cases where “popular culture” became the cause of death. The sad thing is we found more than we thought we would. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 REMARKABLE ROMANCES THAT WOULD DEFINITELY BE TRENDING IF ROMEO AND JULIET WAS NEVER WRITTEN
Do you believe in true love? Well, this is exactly what we asked the first time but we didn’t get your attention, judging from the low number of likes on Facebook and even fewer comments. Regardless, I personally consider this list one of my very best, with amazing photos and fantastic written content that lists eleven of the most powerful loves mankind ever witnessed. And because everything isn’t about quickies and kinky sex you perverts, make sure you make the list go viral this time around. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 SCIENTIFIC FACTS ALSO FOUND IN THE BIBLE
It’s true that science and religion don’t share the same perspective on a number of things. Maybe that’s why so many great scientists throughout the centuries have been atheists and rejected religion, even though some of them have admitted believing in a supreme being. Surprisingly, as scientific research continues to unfold the wonders and mysteries of our universe, more and more things that the Bible describes—which were once considered a bad farce by scientific circles—have been proved right, or almost right. 11 INCREDIBLE STORIES OF SURVIVAL THAT WILL MOTIVATE YOU TO LIVE EACH DAY LIKE IT'S YOUR LAST
I must confess that I have special love for this list! Why? Simply put, it was my worst article and for a good reason too. Being only the second list writing for TCmag at the moment, I made the mistake to send Willy the draft of the list and not the complete, edited piece. As a result, the list got something like 20 comments which focused almost exclusivelly on my "grammar skills" and use of English. Eventually, I rewrote the article, replaced some entries and "injustice" was repaired almost two years after its original release. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 REASONS BATMAN IS SECRETLY ENVIOUS OF SUPERMAN
I am a major geek and I don't even try to hide it. A week before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would hit the theaters, I tried the best way I could to explain Batman’s hate and secret envy toward Superman. I feel like I managed to convince quite a few guys too. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
11 METICULOUS THINGS IN OUR UNIVERSE THAT PROVE HOW PRECIOUS LIFE REALLY IS (PART I&II)
Being the most recent (chornollogically) of all editorials included in this special, this list is also unique and rare in its own way due to the fact that it is consisted of two parts instead of one. So, do you still think that our planet was designed to harbor life coincidentally? PART I .... PART II
10 HORRIFIC HATE CRIMES AGAINST WHITES THE MEDIA COVERED UP
One thing I will always be proud of while writing for TCmag is that we didn't allow political correctness and "labels" to scare us. Being a truly open-minded and anti-racist person, means that you should be able to recognize and address hate and racism regardless where it comes from. With this list, we covered ten hate crimes that popular media would never cover in the same manner and that was an absolute victory of free press. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
DON’T TELL THE ITALIANS, BUT GREEKS INVENTED PIZZA
Last but not least, we kept the most successful article ever published on TCmag. The most surprising thing about this piece is that it wasn’t even a top eleven list as the rest on our celebratory list but a “Tuesday Trivia” article (Do you even remember those?) that generated an astonishing 3000 shares on Facebook and many more retweets and comments. Apparently, many people were shocked to learn pizza isn’t even Italian. CLICK TO REMEMBER!
