Another interesting thing is your quote “Life goes forward, if you get stuck in the past what type of history will you write for future generations?” interesting point, yet you immediately dredge up the US’s past as a justification for your hatred of the US, and then you immediately give the Chinese a pass for mowing down their unarmed civilians yearning to be free. Your logic is absolutely stunning.
No one should be stuck in the past, but those who do not learn from it are doomed to repeat it, and you have proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, you haven’t learned anything.

So Churchill and Roosevelt formed the lend/lease act to arm the UK. So the UK technically bought the stuff. That is why you paid us for it. It wasn't until the Japanese, bombed Pearl Harbor, that the Americans let loose and we did show up to the party, and according to you, we may have shown up late, but we saved your asses and you know it. And BTW we also saved quite a few British colonies like Australia as well. Another fact: BTW, Did you know the US never declared war on Germany? The Germans declared it on us. Skip forward to post WWII, The Soviet Union, started grabbing up countries like Poland, Czechoslovakia, and the rest of the Eastern Bloc. They had their eye on South East Asia and they were going for Germany. Remember Winnie's Iron Curtain speech? Well the US, France and The UK jumped into Berlin to stop the soviet expanse, to help halt it, we rebuilt Germany as part of the Marshal Plan to get the war torn European continent up and running as fast as possible, so as not to lose it to the Communists.

About Stepping up, actually it was the NATO Alliance, a mutual protection agreement, that compelled Britain to step up and they did, and i respect that. But also remember nobody f*cked with the UK because we were members too.

And yes we did help the Afghans, in a proxy war with the Soviet Union, to stop the communist encroachment into the middle east. And Yes to protect the oil supply, Just like the USSR was doing in N Korea and Viet Nam to further protect their boarders. Afghanistan was the Russian's Viet Nam, that is also one of several reasons why the USSR collapsed.

As an American, Thank you! It is nice to know that there are still people in Europe (I am just guessing you are from the EU) that are worthy of the sacrifices that our parents and grandparents made to keep Europe free. Sometimes we do do some fucked up shit, and these parents need to be seriously bitch slapped. And you are absolutely right, you cannot judge a country from a couple of sensationalized videos.

But that is not what is really going on here, they are just lashing out at their own, and their own countries' inadequacies. You see, they have to sit through our movies showing how good we have it here. Then they go home, use their American designed computers, running an American OS, logging on to the American made Internet. Then going to TCmag, and see American women or how rich and successful an American from a simple background with a little effort and a good idea can be. Then they realize they are in a country where you can work, but the chances that they will be rich are very slim and their lives will make little real difference in the world, This can be very overwhelming, So what can they point to that somehow makes them think they are better off then they really are? Go after America! They are like the losers at school, they have to insult the popular kids to make their own sad lives better. That is why they love Bill Clinton, and Obama so much, one got caught with his pants down, the other is trying to bring America down.

Yes we have are share of dumb shits, but you never see the ones showing Americans doing the right thing, that is just boring to everyone else. So the posters have only these videos to judge us. Then they think they know America by these videos, coming up with such intelligent statements like "What could be worse?" I will give them a quick idea, Chairman Mao, slaughtered 40-78 million. Stalin, 23 million a good many of them were starved to death. They don't realize they have taken their freedom for granted, today, there is no Soviet Union, breathing down their necks anymore, so they feel safe and secure thinking no one can hurt them now. So they are willing to give up their freedoms for security, they think "wow! you will take care of me? and all i have to do is just give up a little more of my, and my children's liberty? Sounds OK to me!" They become more and more dependent on their government to provide for them and they themselves matter less and less, they really just don't see it coming any more. I see it here too with our welfare state, they are being lined up like cows ready for the slaughter. They will wake one day and say in their best Chinese "How did this happen?"

As for the Chinamen, I personally have a lot of admiration for most of these eastern f*ckers, I've been there a few times. They work hard and you hardly see any beggars on their streets. BUT If I had to choose between them and the loud mouth Yanks, I regret to say I'd rather live under Yankee rule than Chinese rule.

The simple reason is that I'm white and the US is a white majority. It's fact that races tend to struggle to get along and I have no doubt if the Chinese had to rule they would look out for their own first.

If America falls out of favour (my spell check has flagged my spelling of favoUr, America is even telling me how to spell words their way) I seriously don't see how it could get worse. The west will never lose it's human rights & I'm sure of that.
