Fat News Anchor Respsond To Be Called Fat

Jennifer Livingston is a news anchor for CBS WKBT and she's a bit overweight. A viewer noticed this and wrote her a nasty letter calling her fat, which, let's be fair isn't far from the truth. Jennifer knows she's fat, she says so herself in her address to said viewer while live on air. She goes on about bullying and that sort of thing and I commend her for speaking up, cause while speaking she can't be eating herself to an even greater weight.

Jennifer, bullying is wrong, but since when is calling someone fat bullying? If that person is indeed fat. Or would you rather be called overweight, big-boned or a lifesize supersize.

The e-mail is rather spot on. The world is starting to accept obesity and it shouldn't. What she is actually saying is that obesity is ok and should be accepted. Telling our children it's ok to be obese is not ok! We need to teach our children at a young age what is wrong and what is right. With that being said we should also teach our children to not point or make fun of people who are "different". But in the end, please do not force "acceptance" down our throats.

Its UNHEALTHY. Its not bulling. FFS average age of such fat ppl is 36 years. Yes, they DIE coz their inner organs can`t support their weight. Their hearts cant pump blood through their gigantic FAT bodies.

the e-mail never said she was fat. Amazing that she has wasted so much time and effort on an insinuation that she (factually) is obese when valuable air time could better be used to ..... lets say - report the fuckin news! We should all commend her for her choice to be round - help those almost as round feel a little better about themselves
