Well, I think you are an idiot for thinking spell check would catch this since it's not spelled incorrectly, "effort" really is a word (i'll let you look up the meaning). But, I know that tcmag was really trying to use the "afford". So, next time you try to correct someone please make sure your not saying something that is more stupid.
