Meteor Shower In Russia

Answer - it has been called a shower since it broke into several pieces that later hit different locations in Russia, one of them being Chelyabinsk.

The explosion was equivalent to ~20-30 a-bombs dropped at Hiroshima, but took so little toll in damage because it took place so high over the planet surface.

Look around the web, and you will see some great footage... windows got blown out of the walls - with whole frames (!)...

Too bad those vids weren't cool enough for TCMag to post... I guess doing research isn't a strong side to both TCMag and viewers...

Curious - since when has one fuckin meteor been called a "Shower"? Cool sight but there should certainly be a few meteorites before "Shower" is accurate (not that this site has ever been a source for anything accurate)
