11 AWESOME QUOTES ABOUT WAR AND ITS CATASTROPHIC EFFECTS
I won’t even lie—the original plan for this Thursday’s list was to collect 11 badass quotes and lines from tough warriors, perverted emperors, and bloodthirsty leaders throughout history but the good angel inside me didn’t let me. As I was seeking quotes in the style of “This is Spartaaaaaa!” or “Come and get them,” both lines provided by the ultimate badass in history, Spartan king Leonidas, after the Persians committed the fatal mistake of asking him to surrender and lay down his weapons, I saw one awesome line by Francois Fenelon which says
“All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers.”
This line motivated me to look for more awesome anti-war quotes like it instead of war-worshiping lines that are cool to hear in movies, but not so much in real life. With all the violence going on at the minute in Gaza and Ukraine, not to mention all the places the media doesn’t tell us about, today in TCmag we’re presenting eleven inspirational and motivating lines against war by eleven great minds who knew better but unfortunately the world leaders wouldn’t listen to them.
